My Experience With The E Cigarette

Marijuana Addiction: My Story

This is my marijuana addiction story. I smoked marijuana nearly every single day for over a decade. This was no casual experimentation – it was a love affair. And like any love affair, it had it’s good days and bad days.

Wasn’t that just some BS they taught you in DARE class that we all knew wasn’t true?

And yet, there it was – the elephant in the room: me. A freakin’ pothead, someone who had to get high or else… well, or else I’d start getting really panicked, frustrated, unable to sleep. This moments were few and far between though – I did a good job of always having a bag of weed at my disposal. But the times I couldn’t get high, they should have told me something was up. I should’ve been honest with myself when I couldn’t sleep a wink and wanted to scream at anyone in sight who dared tried to be nice to me or ask me what was wrong.

It’s now been about 3 months since I’ve gotten high. I did it without any marijuana anonymous, AA type religious stuff., or any official marijuana addiction treatment type rehab. Cool for some but not for me. I looked at my family and decided that was my reason. My wife and daughter, my son, and one day, my grand kids – I don’t want these people to see Daddy as some kind of marijuana addict, even if I was successful in other areas of my life. That’s just not good enough for me, and it’s sure as heck not good enough for them.
