Posted on November 18th, 2009 No commentsFlower tattoos is believed to start in the beautiful islands of Hawaii where very crude instruments were used to put permanent decor on the skin. It was also a very painful procedure which automatically ruled out the faint of heart.
Having a tattoo during those days was a symbol of bravery and courage. It was a great way to express feelings and decorate the body. Captain James Cook say this amazing art form and showed it to the rest of the world, and as they say, the rest is history.
Today, lotus flower tattoos are just one design that can be done on the body. It has become less painful to apply, and it now even possible to have them removed. The most common body areas where flower tattoos are often seen are the chest, arms, ankles, and wrists.
